Conference FAQ

We have gathered the most common questions in this FAQ overview.

We hope this provides clarity. Should you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to send us an email or visit the registration desk during the conference — we will be happy to assist you.

App

Please note that there will be no printed programme book this year.

Instead we wil have a conference app which includes  all necessary information about the programme, e-posters, abstracts, general information, sponsor and exhibitor overview, venue maps, and more.
The app can be downloaded in the app stores by searching for “EBJIS by CAP Partner”.
You need to sign in to the app, using the same email as when registering for the conference.

All participants will receive a QR code via email a few days before the congress. This QR code is used to print your name badge upon arrival at the venue.
The conference name badges must be worn during the entire conference. Access to the conference venue will not be granted without the name badge issued by the Conference Organiser.

You will receive an email after the conference with details on how to download your digital certificates.

Please note you need to scan your badge each day in the afternoon to get your CME credits.

A manned cloakroom is available in the registration area for all participants free of charge. 

All breaks are included in the registration for all participants and will be served in the exhibition areas on both ground floor and first floor.

There will be lunch bags served for the industry symposia.

All e-Posters are displayed throughout the conference on digital screens located in the exhibition area. E-Posters are also available in the conference app.

Please note that video recording and photos will be captured during the congress for use on the EBJIS website and social media.

Recording will take place in session rooms and exhibition areas and will focus on capturing the atmosphere of the conference.

Join your colleagues for light refreshments and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere


1st EBJIS Charity Run

Date: 12 September 2025
Time: 06:30
Meeting point: In front of the conference venue
Distance: 5 km
Fee: 50 EUR (donated directly to charity)

Take part in a unique 5 km non-competitive run through the beautiful city centre of Bologna. Enjoy an alternative sightseeing tour of the Medieval City while connecting informally with fellow participants.

All proceeds will be donated to Stop TB Onlus.


EBJIS Social Dinner

Date: 12 September 2025
Time: 20:00 – 24:00
Place: Palazzo Re Enzo

Experience an unforgettable evening of fine food, music, and networking with colleagues and friends.


Transportation

Buses will depart from the conference venue at 19:30 and bring you to the dinner. Return buses will run from 23:00 and every 30 minutes until 01:00.


Participation

Admission is by pre-booked ticket only. Tickets must be purchased in advance. If you have not yet secured a ticket, please send an email to: registration@cap-partner.eu

All speakers must upload their presentation in the Speakers Preview Room (First floor) at least two hours before their session.
Please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive.
Experienced technicians will be on hand to assist you.
Speakers with early morning sessions are advised to upload their presentations the day before.
