The application for the EBJIS Travelling Fellowship 2026 is CLOSED!
EBJIS is hosting its annual Travelling Fellowship, aimed at fostering the professional development of young surgeons and physicians with a significant focus on the treatment of bone and joint infections.
This program will sponsor three fellows, providing them with a unique chance to explore and learn from three renowned European Centers that specialize in Bone and Joint Infections. The goal is to empower and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals dedicated to advancing the field of bone and joint infection management.
The fellowship will take place immediately after the Joint EBJIS & MSIS Annual Meeting in Porto, Portugal and will end approximately September 30, 2026. The full program will be communicated later on!
EBJIS Fellowship Eligibility Criteria:
Only current Ordinary Members in good standing
Age – under 40 years old at the time of the application
Proven interest in Bone and Joint Infection
Certificate of attendance (participation in at least one previous EBJIS Annual Meeting)
Scientific contribution (publications, research reports) related to Bone and Joint Infection
Satisfactory knowledge of written and spoken English
The application deadline was February 10, 2026. The selected fellows will be announced in March 2026.
