Regional Chapters

The EBJIS Regional Chapters serve as dynamic extensions of the European Bone and Joint Infection Society, fostering its mission and values across diverse geographic regions. These chapters are dedicated to promoting EBJIS’s presence, activities, and scientific principles while encouraging the development of region-specific strategies and initiatives.

Currently, two Regional Chapters are active:

• ABJIN (African Bone & Joint Infection Network): Advancing bone and joint infection care across the African continent.
• BJIN – Asia (Bone & Joint Infection Network – Asia): Uniting efforts to enhance understanding and management of infections throughout Asia.

Each chapter is guided by a Steering Committee of EBJIS members, appointed by the Executive Committee. By engaging local professionals and inviting collaboration from individuals outside EBJIS membership, the Regional Chapters aim to build vibrant networks of like-minded experts, advancing the understanding and management of bone and joint infections worldwide.
