Presentation & E-poster instructions
Oral presentations (Free papers)
Presentation format
- Format: PPT
- Slide size: 16:9
- Number of slides: No limit, depending on duration of talk. You can use the EBJIS template or your own template in 16:9.
- Duration of talk: Your presentation is scheduled to last 6 minutes + 2 minutes for questions.
- Conflict of interest: Please include a Conflict of Interest declaration as the first or second slide. You can use the EBJIS COI template or use your own.
Image rights in e-Posters and oral presentations: When using images/photos in a presentaion, the authors must ensure that they either own the copyright of the images or have secured the necessary license or permission from the copyright holder to use them for academic and publication purposes.
The same applies to the use of image/photo documentation in case presentations, where patient consent is required (following locally applicable legislation). The authors take full responsibility for the presented/published images and their use in the scientific forums.
Upload of presentation
- Please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive to the conference. We do not allow the use of personal laptops for presentations.
Please bring your presentation to the Speakers Preview Room at least 2 hours before your oral presentation. Authors of the early morning sessions on Thursday and Friday will be requested to upload their presentation the day before. - A technician will assist you in transferring the presentation into a central conference server. When the transfer is complete, the technician performs a quick run of the presentation in order for you to check whether the presentation runs correctly, and that the entire presentation is copied.
- Your presentation will then be available in the room in which your oral presentation is scheduled.
Electronic Posters instructions (on display)
E-posters are on display on digital screens at the venue throughout the whole conference. All e-posters are available on all screens.
E-poster formats
- Format: 1-page PDF
- Size: DIN A0 (1189 mm x 841 mm), portrait orientation
- Template: You can use the EBJIS e-poster template
- Format restrictions: PDF only (no hyperlinks, animations, or transitions).
