Joint Approach to Infection

We are delighted to announce the launch of the EBJIS & MSIS podcast channel "Joint Approach". Our moderators Jessica Seidelman MD MPH, Infectious Disease Specialist at Duke University and Johannes Plate MD PhD, Total Joint Surgeon at the University of Pittsburgh lead listeners through episodes connecting the medical and surgical specialties to discuss challenging cases, diagnostic paradigms and open up the lines of communication between Infectious Disease Physicians and Orthopaedic Surgeons from EBJIS & MSIS. 

The goal of this podcast is to have both Infectious Disease Physicians and Orthopedic Surgeons sit down to discuss the “joint” prevention, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal infections.
